A small, but mighty, team of 5 - Matt and Kristen Woodford, Frank and Lynda Taylor, and Ash Haller - spent a week in Seward, AK serving through North of Hope, a local organization that "[serves] all people in Alaska in practical ways through projects that [express their] value to support and preserve cultural heritage". Read on to hear some of the team's testimonials about their time in Alaska.

"We laughed, we bonded, we supported each another in life's trials and we got to support a local church and several tribal members with various building projects. We also got to revel in God's amazing creation, from mountains to the ocean to wildlife. It was a week that buoyed us all in so many ways." - Lynda Taylor

"The trip was my third, and once again memorable. I am thrilled that I still look forward to traveling nearly 3,000 miles and serving! The place is beautiful and the work is rewarding...and plentiful. [It's] wonderful to meet new people and experience new challenges!" - Frank Taylor

"Alaska as a state and culture was amazing, it has been long before we arrived, and will continue to be. The people that we loved on, others who took care of us with either food, lodging, or prayer, were what made this trip so special. There was repairing, healing, and laughter with so many people who had never met each other before. It was the right time and the right place for us all to show up and experience unconditional love and service." -Ash Haller
