7 congregants voted to stay within the denomination

The results of the January 26th congregational vote are tallied and the outcome is that we will be continuing as Fifth Avenue Church, no longer under the Foursquare denomination. As a personal note and on behalf of the pastors at Fifth Avenue Church, I wanted to thank everyone for their support within the last several weeks as we took care of this matter. Regardless of your position about the denominational vote, please know that you are just as welcome as ever to continue making Fifth Avenue your church family. We have always been an eclectic group of individuals and we value your input and that you are able to live by your convictions. We hope that this issue of denominational affiliation has not become divisive among those who choose to attend (or not attend) our particular church, and that we can all move forward in unity together.
